THE new owners of the Burrator Inn at Dousland have issued an appeal for the owner of an unusual item of lost property to come forward . . . Phil and Sarah Cater had just signed to take over ownership of the inn when Sarah received the first phone call in their new business ? it was from a man asking if his false teeth had been found. He said he was lost without them. Sarah said: ?I made some enquiries and discovered he had called before, having lost his teeth the previous evening after taking them out while dining. ?At that time, we had not found any, but they turned up in the car park on Friday, wrapped in a tissue, when we were tidying up rubbish.? But the inn does not have any contact details for the man, although they believe he came from Tavistock. They are hoping he will read this appeal to get in touch so that false teeth and owner can be reunited. The contact number is 01822 853121.
