TAVISTOCK and District Youth Forum has been allocated teams for the Ten Tors Challenge this year, and is seeking youngsters to take part.

The youth forum has been allocated 35, 45 and 55-mile teams for what will be its 16th year of taking part in the challenge.

The 35-mile team has been filled, but the organisation still has places left for the 45-mile team, for youngsters aged 16 to 18 years on August 31, and the 55-mile team, for ages 17 to 19 on August 31.

The closing date for applicants is January 21.

Training starts on Sunday February 5 with five day walks and two weekend training walks.
