A NEW senior citizens? forum aims to help older people in South East Cornwall make their voices heard. Vice-chairman Sandra Newns said: ?Many voices speak louder than one, and the ageing population in South East Cornwall means that issues affecting older people in the district are coming to the forefront. ?Caradon Senior Citizens? Forum hopes to provide a voice for senior citizens, help them find out what they are entitled to in terms of benefits and show them how to get the most out of local services.? The group is supported by Caradon District Council and meets once a month, with meetings rotated between the major towns in the district. Anyone over 50 can join, and the annual subscription is just £3. There will be a meeting of the forum at Callington town hall on Wednesday, July 25, at 2pm and a talk on what IT (information technology) can do for you.
