FOOD from all over the world was served up at an international evening attended by West Devon cubs recently. Around 70 youngsters attended the event at the Coronation Hall, Mary Tavy, tasting such delicacies as Chinese food, Vegemite sandwiches and Black Forest gateau. In addition to the food, there were also activities from the countries involved, such as curling from Sweden, Chinese writing, Latin American football, playing the didgeridoo and the African game of Mancala. The evening finished with the English cub game, priest of the parish, when the cubs had to prove that even after a fascinating fast moving evening, they still had their wits about them.
