A SENIOR administrator at a West Devon primary school has retired after almost 22 years in the post.

Hazel Smith retired from Meavy CofE Primary and the special day was commemorated by the pupils with a 'Mad Hatter's Tea Party'.

Mrs Smith received many gifts from grateful parents and children. She is looking forward to her well deserved rest but will be popping along to the school from time to time.
