COLLEAGUES and friends of West Devon's Citizen's Advice Bureau manager Barbara Osborne gathered to celebrate her retirement after 27 years of service to the CAB.

Barbara joined as part-time co-ordinator of Okehampton CAB in 1986.

She saw the service flourish and grow and eventually join with Tavistock to become West Devon CAB in 2003.

Noel Cartwright, former West Devon CAB chairman, paid tribute to Barbara's years of dedicated service and she was presented with gifts and good wishes, and then enjoyed a traditional high tea provided by the Ockment Centre.
