FANCY a spot of flying? Okehampton Model Flying Club is looking for new members to join them for their indoors fun fly events.

While the weather outside may not be perfect for flying model aircraft, members have not let their spirits be dampened, and have instead booked a number of sessions at Parklands Leisure Centre.

The club's next meeting at Parklands is on Sunday January 16 from from 2pm until 5pm, where the members hope to be joined by other model flying enthusiasts from nearby clubs.

Club member Andrew Bourne said: 'We're always really keen to hear from new members, and you don't even need your own model aircraft. We are always happy to provide help and advice to new club members, especially if they're new to the hobby.'
