ENTHUSIASTIC gardeners and keen children put on a good show at Lydford flower, produce and craft show last Saturday week.

After a week of mixed sunshine and showers the show, in the village hall, was favoured with fine weather. Although entries in the cookery classes were down, other sections did well.

For the second year running the Nash Perpetual Cup for the most points in the show was won by Mrs Sue Holland.

The Junior Cup for the most points in the junior section was won by Kerry Crocker and the Under Five Year?s cup winner was Gemma Friend.

Other winners were George Dean, Richard Atill, Morgan Warnett, Bethan Dean, Toby Calvert, Mrs R Baker, Mrs J Boylan, Mrs J Rowden, Mrs G Saunders, Mrs J Harris, Mrs M Calvert, John Shadbolt and the Crocker family.
