THE Rev Greg Stanton has turned to a different flock in order to raise funds for the repair of the organ at St Peter's, Lamerton, to keep his regular flock in tune.
The 90 year-old organ is in need of comprehensive refurbishment in order to help the Lamerton flock stay tuneful.
Several ceramic sheep have been made by Angie Minshull, and these are among the wide variety of hand-crafted items which will be exhibited at St Peter's.
The art and craft exhibition and sale will be held at St Peter's on the weekend of September 8-9. The church will be open to visitors from 10.30am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Refreshments will be available in the church rooms together with a cake stall.
The exhibition will finish with Songs of Praise at 6.30pm on the Sunday, to which all are welcome.
