AN enforcement could be authorised on a Moretonhampstead business, requiring it to remove unauthorised flag staffs and a satellite dish from its premises.
Dartmoor National Park Authority?s planning committee is being asked to consider legal action against the White Hart Hotel, which has erected the flag staffs and satellite dishes on the building, which is within the town?s conservation area.
Planning officers say the dish and flags are detrimental to the character and appearance of the listed building. The hotel was not granted planning permission for them, yet flags and dish remain on the building. The committee will consider authorising legal action when it meets tomorrow (Friday).
