Bayard, who died last year aged 41, was a much respected player for the club who represented the town's team at junior, Colt and senior level as well as for Devon.
Former team mates of Bayard took to the pitch for the friendly in a good spirited game. Some of the players came from different parts of the country to take part in the game, which ended in a draw.
On the day a substantial amount was also raised in Bayard's memory, from a raffle and auction which will be donated to a heart foundation.
Organisers on the day, thanked the many individuals and businesses who helped make it such a successful event.
