WITHIN the first few minutes Lyle crossed to Dee who headed the ball into the back of the net. Then they sat back too much and let SB attack. They soon equalised, despite Webber saving two attempts at goal.
Tavistock got going again, Lyle having a shot saved by the keeper and Hammond hitting the bar. Some fast, end to end football was played and it was SB who pulled in front but again Tavistock attacked and were rewarded with an excellent goal from Lyle which he headed in from a Doyle cross.
Just before half time there was a reckless tackle on Court, for which the SB player was booked, but Court did manage to come out again for the second half which was very tight and many free kicks were given away on both sides.
Court made a game saving tackle just before full time but unfortunately had to be carried off just after. Smerdon came on as replacement and put in some important defence work before the final whistle went. Tavistock battled hard against a strong team and were rewarded with their first point of the season.

WITHIN the first minute of the game Thomas Friend opened up the scoring with some good play from the kick off.
Weston Mill OV then dominated for the next 20mins playing good football. Peter Page got the second just before half time. The second half saw more Tavistock goals from Bradley Crack, Josh Midsomer Holmes and another from on form Peter Page for his hat-trick.
