THE inaugural meeting of Kelly Bray Residents' Association will take place on February 10 and anyone living in the village is welcome to attend.

Residents set up the organisation to give the community a voice after several local issues came to the fore, such as speeding, lack of facilities for children and the absence of a village or community centre.

There have been around 150 new homes built in Kelly Bray over the last few years and an increase in business on the industrial estate but one of the things local residents would like to see is more shops.

Anyone interested in Kelly Bray issues can go along to the Swingletree pub at 7.30pm and find out more. The meeting will be chaired by Gerald Pridham.
