IN the Okehampton Netball League this week Hi Line beat Speedwells.

Both teams took a while to settle in the wet conditions with the first goal eventually going to Speedwells after a couple of minutes play.

At the halfway point top of the table Hi Line had the smallest of leads with the score standing at 12-9. Speedwells Jo Moppett, standing in as centre, dominated the centre court however the great play from Hi Line's Clare Toms as GA allowed Hi Line to pull away to a comfortable win by 34-17. This was a great performance from both sides.

With this their first season in Okehampton, Bluebirds have had a slow start however their play on Tuesday showed determination and some excellent netball. Maltesers were strong in the centre court with some great play from Heather Smallcombe and Nicola Bryant but Bluebirds proved too strong and dominated the game throughout with the final score seeing them win by 30-12.
