THE very best of Cornish food and drink will be available at Cotehele House next month, when the historic National Trust property hosts its annual Winter Food Fair.
And this year visitors will have not one, but two days in which to browse, sample or buy the products as the event has been extended to a full weekend, on November 8 and 9.
The extra day means there are also even more exhibitors at the fair, with producers setting up in the barn restaurant and a large marquee.
A full range of products, from meats and cheeses to chocolates and wine, will be available to try and buy.
Carol Trewin, of organisers Cornwall Taste of the West, said: ?Seasonal food and drink is just as varied and exciting in winter as in high season.
?At this time of year, people are looking for food that is a little bit special, either for parties or gifts, and there?s something for everyone at this event, plus the wonderful National Trust setting at Cotehele makes it an even more enjoyable day out for everyone.?
Local exhibitors at the fair, open from 10am until 4pm both days, include preserves and oils from Callington?s Celtic Kitchen, Ginsters, Callington?s Amberley Cakes and Pastries and Callington?s Harmony Hampers.
