ARTISTS and craftspeople from across West Devon are being invited to attend one of a series of open meetings run by Devon Artists' Network (DAN) to be held in January at a variety of locations.
From first time, artists, from exhibitors to established professionals, are welcome to take part in an open studios event.
Devon Open Studios 2009 will run from September 5 to 20 with artists having the option of opening their studios and homes for up to 16 days.
Information about all the artists taking part will be collated into a free catalogue which will be widely available to visitors through Tourist Information Centres, galleries and libraries from mid July.
The closing date for registration for this year's event will be January 31 and participating artists will also need to sign up to become members of DAN for 2009.
Artists in the West Devon area are welcome to attend the meeting on Wednesday January 7 in the Kes Room at the Ockment Centre in Okehampton at 7pm.
