THE celebrations surrounding the 100th birthday of Boasley Methodist Chapel continued last weekend, with a special Centenary Evening concert held at Bratton Clovelly Parish Hall.
Star of the evening was the Wadebridge Male Voice Choir, with its musical director Danny Gill and accompanists Robert Whatley and Sheila Flower. The guest soloist for the evening was Rachel Daniels.
Everyone enjoyed the witty commentary provided by chairman Courtney Drew of North Tamerton which accompanied the successful concert.
The event provided a rousing end to a month of centenary celebrations for Boasley Chapel. Photographs of the various occasions were on view during the evening, which included words from the Rev Philip Wagstaff on services past at the chapel. A supper provided a wonderful finale to the night.
