FATHER?Christmas arrived early to help the candlelit food and craft fair at Milton?Abbot Church go with a festive swing.

The event on Sunday included hand-crafted gifts and decorations for the home, painted furniture, cushions, pictures, jewellery as well as home-made Christmas cakes, puddings and jams and juices.

There was face-painting and a free visit to Santa for youngsters.
