BRILLIANT weather and an exciting range of activities, stalls and competitions attracted several hundred people to Gulworthy Country Festival.
The event raised in the region of £3,000 which will go towards the renovation of Gulworthy Church.
Bargain hunters were able to peruse plant stalls and a craft tent, while a barbecue and beer tent meant nobody went hungry and thirsty.
The children were kept amused by pony rides and laser shooting.
Five-a-side football and a tug-of-war catered for the more energetic visitor.
Ted Deacon, who helped organise the festival, said the event had proved a huge success.
?We?re really pleased the festival raised so much money for the church, and we?re pleased with the support we had from local businesses. It was very much a community effort.?
