THE Chagstock festival team took to the road recently, to promote the music and arts festival that is celebrating its fourth anniversary this year.
The team was out and about promoting the event in vehicles emblazoned with the festival's logo. This year's festival takes place at the 35-acre site at Whiddon Down from July 22 to July 24.
Originally a private event for around 100 people, Chagstock started as a micro-festival in a private garden until it went public in 2007 — and has continued to grow in popularity ever since.
The three big headline acts already booked are Magic Numbers, Bellowhead and Show of Hands. Other acts scheduled to perform at the event are John Otway Big Band, Three Daft Monkeys, The Voodoo Trombone Quartet and The Operation.
Ticket sales are already up and running, with the organisers promising that this will prove to be the fledgling festival's best year yet.
