A YOUNG Tavistock band will be hitting the main stage of a Cornish music festival, supporting popular band 'The Darkness'.
Ten Zero One will be playing on the main stage of the Looe Music Festival on Sunday, September 29. The band has played at the festival every year since it started in 2011, and are always on the main stage.
The band feels honoured to be booked again this year, as the festival had more than 1,000 applications from artists wanting to play. Only seven acts get to perform on the main stage on Sunday, which is putting the spotlight on rock, punk and glam. The boys are overjoyed to be heading back to the main stage and expressed thanks to festival organisers for giving them the opportunity to be mixing with rock giants such as The Darkness, Reef, The Damned and others.
The band, comprising Max Williams, Gary Lawrence-James, Jack Rawlings and Joe Craddick, all aged 15, play all their own original material and have played many festivals over the summer.
Anyone wishing to support the boys and see the other acts, including Seth Lakeman, can still buy tickets at http://www.looemusic.co.uk">www.looemusic.co.uk
Prices are £55 for the whole weekend and £15 for under 18s.
