CELEBRATION will be the theme of a flower festival in St Paul?s Church at Gulworthy over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The church is marking its 150 year anniversary and a recent redecoration with 24 floral exhibits each depicting a different celebration.
?Let?s Celebrate? runs from May 29 to 31 from 10am to 8pm with a concert by Tavistock Stannary Brass Band in the church at 7.30pm on Saturday and a ?Songs of Praise? service at 6.30pm on Sunday.
Refreshments will be available in the parish hall along with a display of fashions over the past century and local photos and artefacts.
It is seven years since the church held its last last flower festival and it intends to emulate the high standard of the previous three events. All the proceeds will go towards improving the heating system.
