COMING back bigger and better than last year, Lydford's own musical festival 'Lydstock' is promising an entertaining evening for all, with three stages playing hosts to various local bands.
The festival, taking place on Saturday June 25, will have two main stages plus a smaller third stage in the marquee, where the live music will start at 4pm. It is hoped this will encourage those with younger children to experience some of the festival atmosphere.
Lydford's own band 'Lydford Jam' will be playing at the festival along with On The Double, and Teo and Lucas, and the music will continue throughout the evening featuring Stemroach, The Avatars, 80 Degrees and Tavistock's rising stars Ten Zero One.
Lydstock will take place on Lydford sports field from 4pm to 11.30pm.
A bar will be open from 6pm to 11.30pm and a barbecue will be available from 7pm to 9am.
Tickets are available in advance at £6 per adult and £3 for under 18s, from Tavistock Carpet Centre, Fox and Hounds Pub, or the Castle Inn.
Some tickets will be available on the gate at £7 for adults and £4 for under 18s. For more information contact 01822 820 411.
