TWO donations to local charities have been made following the successful Food Festival in Tavistock earlier this year.
Tavistock Business Association has committed an initial £1,000 to Children?s Hospice South West and £100 to the Robey Trust.
Once the accounts for the year have been finalised, there are plans to make additional donations.
The group is already organising the festival for 2005 and has received 32 preliminary reservations from exhibitors.
It is planned to enhance next year?s festival with live soft jazz on both days, with a jazz cafe serving local food and drinks.
Peter Gorton will again be organising a full programme of celebrity chef demonstrations.
