TAVISTOCK'S Mayor Cllr Harry Smith took to the town's library to join in with a book reading group.

The mayor joined the library's 'Feel Better with a Book' group, which meets weekly in the library to share literature in a friendly environment.

Cllr Smith said: 'I enjoyed my time reading with this group. It was clear that all who took part gained a great deal from the activity of the group and the great environment it creates.'
