AN elderly man died in hospital after being involved in a collision on Pixon Lane, Tavistock, on Saturday.

At approximately 2pm, a Honda Jazz being driven by a 73-year-old man, was travelling along Pixon Lane when it was involved in a minor collision with a stationary vehicle, but then collided with a stone post outside a derelict property at the junction with Plymouth Road.

Both the driver and the front seat passenger, an 84-year-old man, were taken to Derriford Hospital but the passenger later died.
