OKEHAMPTON junior netball league finished the season with a tournament involving all the teams.
Two tournaments ran on the same night and it was all go from the start. The teams only had five minutes to play and it was fast and furious from the starting whistle. There was some great netball played with all the girls fully involved. This was a great way to finish a very successful season. Medals were presented to the teams and the league would like to thank Okehampton Lions and The Manor House Hotel for their continued support with this league.
Tournament A results: 1, Wallabies; 2, Shebbear College Lions; 3, All Stars; 4, Hot shots. Player of the tournament – Izzy Ewen from All Stars. Tournament B results: 1, Bumble Bees; 2, Honey; 3, Shooting Stars. Player of the tournament – Chloe Rutley.
League results: This was a close finish to the league this season with the eventual winners only winning by goal difference. The standard of netball has been excellent this season and we wish the players well for the future.
