SOUTH ZEAL enjoyed a display of fashions from 1910 to 1990 this week. Original military uniforms, Edwardian dresses and a shell suit from the 80s were paraded down a catwalk in the village's Victory Hall, by a group of models ranging in age from just three to over sixty. The event, which raised £353.20 for Comic Relief, was organised by Abbie and Gina Brint, aged 15 and 13, from Sticklepath. The evening's entertainment also included a children's Easter bonnet competition, which was won by Izzy Rowland, with Emily Rowland in second place and Laura Baizely in third place. The organisers expressed thanks to all the models and everyone who supported the event or lent costumes. They voiced special thanks to Hillary Gillespie, Dave Watkins, Robin Tilley and Steve Compton.
