BUDDING designers and models will be in creative heaven later this summer with the resurrection of the famous Sticklepath Fashion Show. Sticklepath Fireshow has been successful in gaining a grant from the Lottery ?Awards for All? scheme, which will allow organisers to buy lots of tools and equipment, as well as bringing back the popular fashion show. Workshops will be held from Monday, August 22 to Saturday, August 27 to allow people to find all the help, materials and inspiration they need to make garments and accessories, whether or not they wish to take part in the fashion show itself on Saturday. The event is open to anyone at all who would like a go, whatever their age ? you can come all week, just for a day or only for an hour or two. The event will cover most of the things volunteers do for the real fireshow, so there will be a chance to design, build and display your own puppets, masks, costumes and clothing. Further information is available by contacting Dave or Hillary on 01837 840334. Booking is recommended as places are limited and the events are always popular.
