DARTMOOR National Park Authority is hosting the first ever Dartmoor Farmers' Forum at its headquarters in Parke, Bovey Tracey, at 6 pm on November 13.
Dartmoor's unique assets require management by grazing livestock but today many farms that provide these animals are struggling to remain viable. The costs of farming in the National Park are increasing and as a result farming in this world class landscape is becoming uneconomic, say farmers.
Dartmoor farmers wishing to attend the forum should contact Sue Eberle on (01626) 831013 or email [email protected]">[email protected]
