RESIDENTS of Buckland, Crapstone and Milton Combe recently had the opportunity to express their views and dreams for their community.
All local community groups contributed to an exciting exhibition showing just how much is happening around the area and visitors were encouraged to write their comments — good or bad — on brightly-coloured notelets.
Kate Wright from WestDEN said altogether 150 people supplied a total of 270 comments. 'This is a fantastic result from a relatively small community. The comments have been collated and several themes have emerged,' she said.
Buckland Monachorum Community Partnership and WestDEN are grateful to everyone for their support and having their say. The next stage of the project is to compile a questionnaire based on the themes identified from the consultation and these will be delivered in January to houses in the area. The results from this will shape a Community Action Plan.
