DESPITE terrible weather, there was great support for the Launceston and District Cats Protection Spring Fayre at Lifton Church Hall. This was the organisation's first event of the year and the hall was packed with stalls selling a large variety of goods as well as the impressive cake stall! There was also an animal safari which was immensely popular. A fantastic amount of £989 was raised. Thanks were expressed to everyone who braved the pouring rain to come along and support the day. Helpers were also praised as was organiser Patricia Clements.
