A FANCY dress party was the order of the day at Walkhampton Preschool and Toddler Group last Friday, when all the children arrived dressed in theme of nursery rhymes and traditional tales. The children enjoyed a fun packed morning with lots of activities. A spokesperson for the group said: 'It was lovely to see Old King Cole and Red Riding Hood help Incy Wincy Spider decorate the buns the pre-school children had baked!' Following the party, the children who attend the lunch club held a picnic in the play park. The children raised a splendid £30 for Comic Relief. Walkhampton Preschool takes children from the age of two and runs every weekday from 9am until 11.45am, followed by an hour long lunch club. Toddlers are welcome on Fridays from 9.45am, accompanied by an adult. Organiser Jess Barley expressed thanks to Tavistock Fire Service for providing the water and the two firefighters who helped wash cars.
