THERE were six matches played In Okehampton Netball League on January 27.

In division I, Speedwells played Falcons. Speedwells started strongly but Falcons began to dominate and pulled away with the final score being Falcons 37 Speedwells 25.

Players of the match: Carol Chapman for Speedwells; Sharon Curtis for Falcons.

Cheriton Flyers played Dodgers. Dodgers were without their regular goal attack due to injury and could only put out a side of six players. Cheriton led from the start with excellent shooting and good on court play, Dodgers tried to match the pace but were not on top form and Cheriton deserved their win.

Final score: Cheriton 38, Dodgers 14.

In division 2 Red Devils played Breezers. This was a good game for both teams and the level of play was much improved.

Final score: Red Devils 27, Breezers 10.

Jesters played Shooting Starz. The young Shooting Starz are improving all the time and it is a good first season for Jesters who are in third place.

Final score: Jesters 32, Shooting Starz 12.
