A BINGO event held at Princetown Primary School recently has been declared a great success by organisers.
Now run as a joint fundraiser by both the pre-school and primary school, there was a good attendance and just over £200 was raised, to be divided equally between the two groups.
The primary school supplied superb cream and jam scones for refreshments this time around — next time it will be the pre-school's turn to bake.
Pre-school deputy chair Sally Kinsey said: 'As well as fundraising, it is a great social event, everyone has a good time, and anything that benefits the schools ultimately benefits the whole village.'

The next school bingo is at the end of September — watch out for a date in due course.
