FARMERS working with the Dartmoor Hill Farm project are inviting people to bring along their horses for a ride exploring the landscape and history of two Dartmoor farms this Sunday, September 25.
Tor Royal Farm and Sherburton Farm, both in Princetown, are lively, family-run farms.
Riders will be able to ride the marked way anytime between 10.30am to 2pm, with escorted rides at 11.30am and 2pm. There will be two rides, a shorter one of two hours and a longer three-hour ride.
The rides will start at Tor Royal Farm and all riders will be given an information pack of points of interest that they will pass.
Refreshments will will be available halfway and at the end.
All ages are welcome, but for insurance reasons all riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, and hard hats must be worn.
The ride costs £15 with all profits going to BBC Radio Devon's Air Ambulance Appeal.
No dogs are allowed on the ride.
