THE West Dartmoor Art Group has raised over £400 at its annual art exhibition in Peter Tavy Village Hall.

The exhibition, which ran between July 14 and 22, showcased the artwork of its members, who meet every Wednesday throughout the year in preparation for this annual exhibition.

The winning entry was picture number 12 'Yak' by Barrie Brierley, closely followed by number 70 'Awaiting the Tide' by David Mather and number 30 'The East Dart, Postbridge' by John Estall.

The proceeds of the event will be split between the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and the Dartmoor Rescue Trust.
