THE festive season comes early to Duchy Square Centre for Creativity in Princetown next week as members of the Devon Artist Network (DAN) stage a Mixed Christmas Exhibition, starting on November 12.

A number of artists from DAN will have work featured at the show, including printmaker Joanna Radford of Newton Abbot, Christine Linfield, of Moretonhampstead, a landscape painter, Sarah Woolfenden, an artist from Bideford, Rosemary Bonney a painter from Holne, near Ashburton, printmaker Cathy King of Exeter and artist Carole Hart Fletcher, of Kingswear.

The show will feature a variety of artistic disciplines, including painting, photography and sculpture.

Philippa Smith, Gallery Manager at Duchy Square, said: 'The Devon Artist Network brings together some of the most creative and talented people living and working in our wonderful county.

'This is an exhibition featuring some of the very best of that creative talent and it is certain to create lot of interest in the centre.'

Established in 2004, DAN is a membership organisation designed to promote, celebrate and champion the visual arts, as well as create opportunities for artists and makers in Devon.

It is a non-profit making organisation that initiates a range of creative projects across the county, such as the popular Devon Open Studios held every year in September.
