COLLECTABLE watercolourist Gillian McDonald is having an exhibition of her work at Tavistock Picture Framing Company on Saturday.

The artist specialises in painting the remoter parts of the British Isles. From the Highlands and Islands of Scotland to the Black Mountains of South Wales, Gillian can be found — often on horseback, seeking out abandoned farms and dramatic landscapes.
Because the Tavistock Picture Framing Company at Unit 10, Plymouth Road Industrial Estate, have sold a lot of Gillian's limited editions, owners Martin and Nina Hawkins have managed to persuade the artist to paint a collection of Dartmoor pictures.
Gillian will be in attendance at the exhibition at Tavistock Picture Framing Company on Saturday from 10am.
