North Okes U13s 34 Torrington U13s 5 NORTH Okes forwards began to provide good quick ball for halfbacks Lee and Curtis to operate. From a scrum Lee broke blind and fed Mallett who raced in to score in the corner. The backs laid the foundation for Gillard to score twice one of which was converted by Searle. With halftime approaching North Okes won ball inside their own half, a high kick caused mayhem in their opponents 22 with the backs up quickly. Winning quick ball Graham Glew crashed over for an excellent try. In the second half North Okes and scored two more tries through Will Searle and Will Lethbridge one of which Searle converted. In the dying minutes Torrington got a deserved score. This was as ever an excellent team performance from a group of boys who continue to improve with each match.
