PEOPLE who are interested in the history of mining on Dartmoor are invited by the Dartmoor Tinworking Research Group and Widecombe History Group to attend an open afternoon being held at the DTRG's new display room at Brimpts Farm, near Dartmeet, this Saturday, August 11 from 2pm.

Visitors can see the DTRG's model which is based on Brimpts North Mine, plus information about the mines at Brimpts and other sites on Dartmoor, and have a look around the site.
