THIS was a closely fought match from the start with both teams playing some superb netball.

Quicksilver's shooters looked very strong, however Magpies did not allow them to get too far ahead and at the end of the first quarter there was only two goals to separate the teams.

Magpies pulled some goals back and it was them that led after the second quarter.

The teams remained very evenly matched and in the third quarter it was going goal for goal with the score standing at 22-22.

In the last quarter Quicksilver just managed to pull away.

Dodgers 23

Falcons were in great form showing why they have won all their matches for the last ten years.

Dodger's Helena Peters was struggling with a back injury and this proved to make things hard work for Dodgers who did not really get into the game.

Caroline Luke working tirelessly for Dodgers played some great centre court netball but Falcons were just too strong.
