CALLINGTON Colts should be quite pleased with the draws for the 'Challenge Du Printemps' tournament in France at the end of April as both the U10s and U12s have really good games to look forward to. The U10s face the might of Sparta Rotterdam, Racing Club de Paris and three Breton sides, ESG Plougastel, VGA Bohars and ASPTT Brest in a six team group. Meanwhile the U12s are matched up with one of the favourites, Olympique Nice, and fellow Ligue one outfit RC Strasbourg. They also face three Breton teams in the form of LSP Brest, SC St Divy and AS Brest. The group stage matches are held on the afternoon of Saturday, April 28 and the morning of Sunday, April 29 before the knockout stages and the finals late on the Sunday evening. Callington are regular invitees to this prestigious tournament that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year and there will also be teams from Dakar and Senegal in Africa along with German competitors (Shalke 04), Russians from Alexandrov FC and the regular visitors from Belgian Club Ostende and Senec from Slovakia.
