TWO men from Thaxted undertaking a charity cycle challenge from Land's End to John O'Groats passed through Okehampton recently.

Neal Saych and Andy Griffin stayed at the White Hart Hotel for the first night of their fundraising effort for Cancer Research, and particularly the Papworth Hospital Mesothelioma Research Fund.

Neal lost his father, Clive, to mesothelioma, a form of lung cancer related to asbestos in March 2010.
