A WOMAN driver had a lucky escape last week, after her car flipped over after clipping the hedge on one of Tavistock?s main approach roads.
Firecrews from Tavistock attended the accident on the Brentor to Tavistock road, by its junction with Redmoor Close.
Acting station officer Tim Smith said the driver, believed to be a local woman, was ?very lucky? not to be seriously injured in the crash, which happened at 10.43am on Thursday.
?She was fine, in fact, she was amazingly unfazed by it all,? said Mr Smith.
