FORMER Tavistock AFC secretary Eric Pinch has embarked on a National Cycle Network tour of the South East.

Eric, a Sustrans volunteer ranger, is looking to do approximately 600 miles in a fortnight taking in the sights of London, Berkshire, Surrey, Middlesex, Essex, Sussex and Kent.

He is pictured with some of the fellow Slimming World members from Tracy Horton's Tavistock 10 am group.

After last year's completion of John O' Groats to Land's End on the network this is part of Eric's tour of the country.

As the Times goes to press Eric should almost be halfway through travelling back from Reading towards Greenwich heading for Chelmsford.
