A SUCCESSFUL gala concert was held at St Eustachius Church by the Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir.

The event was in aid of the Tavistock Chemotherapy Outreach Project and a cheque will be presented to the charity when all expenses have been paid.

The entertainment was provided by the award winning Mount Charles Youth Band with their beautiful tone and style.

Choir president Justin Leigh from the BBC news programme 'Spotlight' amused with a variety of stories as a presenter on television, from his tie to shoes and his wonderful singing voice.

The choir will sing again in Tavistock on September 1 with the Dowlais Male Voice Choir from South Wales. It will take place at St. Eustachius Church and will raise funds for the Children's Hospice South West. All are welcome to attend.
