BeELSTONE Village Hall is to provide the backdrop for a thrilling Amazon adventure.
?In the Footsteps of Darwin . . . and Russell Crowe: travels in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands? is an illustrated talk set right in the heart of the South American landscape.
Travellers? tales from the Amazon rainforest to the Andean mountains will be accompanied by spectacular footage of far-flung locations and exotic island wildlife ? giant tortoises, iguanas and sea-lions to name but a few.
A fascinating collection of artefacts from the area will be on display throughout the evening.
The show is on February 14 and starts at 7.30pm; admission is free with donations invited for the Hall kitchen fund.
