THE National Trust has a special offer for all residents living in the PL postcode area.
For five days, from Monday December 27 to Friday 31, from 11am to 4pm daily, they will have free admission to the Cotehele estate, including access to the shop, gallery, restaurant and the hall of the stunning Tudor house, to view the spectacular Christmas Garland.
Charmian Saunders, visitor services manager at Cotehele, says: 'We gave free entry for people living in the PL postcode area for the first time last year and it proved such a success that we have decided to do it again.
'So to all our neighbours we say, why not get out into the fresh air, blow those cobwebs away and pay us a visit.'
Proof of residency, such as a utility bill or similar, must be shown to gain this free admission.
The gardens and estate are open daily all year round. Usual winter admission rates are £4 per adult, for non-National Trust members, with under 16s admitted free.
