TAVISTOCK Men's Hockey A team increased their lead at the top of the South West District league 1 with an emphatic 9-0 away win over basement side Plymouth Uni C.

Tavistock took control of the match from the start and the ever-improving Neil Kelly scored a hat-trick before half time. Neil Bradley pulled off an excellent save to thwart the students only shot on target and Matt Edwards added Tavistock's fourth by the break.

It was pleasing to see Tavistock keep their structure and driving line after the restart.

Their dominant play was rewarded with a hat-trick of goals from the excellent Adam Holland.

Tavistock's marathon man was a constant threat to the university's side throughout the match.

A well-taken penalty flick by Matt Edwards increased Tavistock's lead further and Neil Kelly added his fourth to give the visitors their 9-0 victory.
